Wonderful place to visit! I personally love to go hiking there myself.
New Park Ranger is illiterate, doesn't know the rules and regulations on passes etc., he had to call manager twice when I told him he was wrong!! Not a people person DAD must of got him a job, No fish in ponds, " none" camping thats all there is to do, people just use it for reunions, campsites are not full service, Barnwell state park is much better
Great hiking trails, clean and cared for trails that are safe. Swimming areas, camping areas, and playground. Nice place for a family, an adventure or casual gathering. Lots of nice woods and rivers, and ponds.
$2.00 adult fee good clean spring fed swimming area. Canoe & kayak rental and shuttle at park. Clean restrooms and lots of tables in sun and shade. Nice camp ground tent to RV.
Our family's favorite spot to take friends kayaking. It's a great clean camp ground with a nice park and swimming area. The kayaking route is perfect for a leisurely ride down the river and great for beginners.
